Please note that the software allows you to request a connection - we cannot initiate the connection from here. There is no possibility of us connecting to your computer at any time without you first requesting it and you can terminate the connection at any time should you wish.
Once a connection has been established we are able to take control of your mouse and keyboard as if we were sitting at your desktop. This often allows us to diagnose and fix software problems on the spot. You can terminate the connection at any stage by using the stop button in the program window. Once the session is complete the software removes itself from your computer. If you need the service again you can simply return here and activate the program again.
If you have an 01 or 02 landline we will generally phone you to talk you through what we are doing on your computer and to ensure you are comfortable with the process. We cannot call mobile numbers though you can call us from your own mobile if you wish.
